Chi Square Test :
1. Performed a Chi-Square Test of Independence, confirming a statistically significant relationship between region and political violence (p < 0.00001).
2. Filtered high-fatality events in top 5 states and created a cleaned word cloud to identify dominant conflict-related keywords like “militants,” “Meitei,” and “Bijapur.”
3. Examined identity-based violence trends, fatality rates by category, and the most targeted victim groups.
4. We analyzed political violence data to identify the top 5 states with the highest number of events and calculated their percentage share nationally.
5. We calculated and visualized fatality rates (deaths per dispute) to understand which states experience the deadliest incidents.
6. We explored how state-level GDP percentages relate to fatality rates and observed that low-GDP states like Manipur and Chhattisgarh often report higher fatalities.
7. This helped us highlight economic and structural vulnerabilities in conflict-prone regions.
